The Morphohedra Collection is an extension of my Morphology work and continues the investigation of cells as the building blocks which occur in all living organisms. Each piece is carved to represent the cytoskeleton which supports the cell and gives it shape. Thermal processes and gravity are combined to morph each carved piece, resulting in unique glass sculptures which reveal the delicate interplay of structure, light and colour inherent in living systems.
